Really, there is nothing to say.
To be honest I love this short video. It is hard to convey the feel of the library in 10 seconds, especially when you feel so uncomfortable filming in a public place, but I think I kind of got it! The natural sound is very convincing I think. My pans where a bit too fast, and I probably could have used a greater variety of shots, but like I said it felt so awkward filming random people!
The focus here is on The Playground as a specific place. What the heck. I know. There’s a weird sort of vibe going on here, especially with the creepy music. I think it is more suited to a desolate sort of desert scene or something, but perhaps (?!) that creates an interesting contrast to a colourful place where children go to play.
I found it difficult finding yellow things – especially ones I can say I ‘like’. Thankfully it was a gorgeous day, and I was able to express my love of the beach down here on the Mornington Peninsula. Starting on a bright yellow beach box, I scan across the golden sand and into the face of the glaring yellow sunshine. In only ten seconds the beach scene is set up.
